Hi, my name is Denny and I’m a full time travel and portrait photographer from Switzerland. Currently I’m in Mexico and on my way to beautiful Santa Teresa in Costa Rica. I’m planning to stick around for a couple of months and would be excited to see if there is something we could work on together :)

I like cameras (a lot)

Photography, videography, and content creation have fueled my passion for the past decade. From fashion shoots to sports and events, I’ve got you covered. I travel with a full kit, including a drone and gimbal, to capture the high-quality footage you’re looking for. I’m also skilled in post-production, able to edit in a variety of styles—whether you want a crisp, clean look or a vintage, faded analog vibe, I can make it happen!

Conversion, ROMI & stuff

With years of experience in Marketing, I speak the lingo and understand the nuances of what clients and brands need. From crafting compelling copy to developing and executing full-scale marketing strategies I’ve done it. 

I worked as a key account & social host

With years of full-time travel experience, I’m adaptable and confident in most environment. So you can trust me to interact smoothly with your guest. At Canon, I managed key accounts, working closely with their top customers in Switzerland. I’ve also gained hands-on experience as a social host in a hostel in Melbourne and recently led several camera workshops back in Switzerland.

About Denny

I’m Denny Waves, a travel and portrait photographer from Switzerland with Vietnamese and Italian roots. My journey with photography began in 2010 and has since taken me across the globe, capturing everything from African safaris to the vibrant streets of Tokyo.

I hold a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and have built a career in Marketing, Sales, and Product Management, working with industry leaders like Galaxus (Switzerland's largest retailer) and Canon.

In recent years I’ve decided to fully focus on my photography career, working with brands like Fujifilm and Canon. From documenting surf culture in Sri Lanka to yoga retreats in Thailand, I combine creativity with a strong business approach to deliver high-quality content worldwide.
